Arista 7050TX Series

The Arista 7050TX Series is a family of 1RU and 2RU fixed switches built for data center leaf tiers where copper 10GbE server attachment eliminates per-port transceiver cost. Four models span 32 to 96 downlink 10GBase-T ports paired with 4 to 8 QSFP+ 40G uplinks, delivering 960 Gbps to 2.56 Tbps of aggregate switching capacity at a consistent 3 µs forwarding latency. Under 5 W per 10GbE port places the 7050TX among the most energy-efficient copper switching platforms for high-density data center use.

A Quad-Core x86 CPU running Arista EOS with 4–8 GB of system memory and 4 GB of flash provides a uniform management, API, and automation surface across all models in the family. Unicast Forwarding Table (UFT) mode selection lets the same hardware pivot between L2-heavy operation at 288 K MAC addresses (UFT Mode 2) and L3-heavy operation at 144 K IPv4 host routes, with 77 K IPv6 routes and 128-way ECMP on 7050X2-generation variants. Redundant 1+1 hot-swappable power supplies and N+1 hot-swappable fans with selectable airflow direction complete the resiliency profile.
