The Arista C-360 is the high-density Wi-Fi 6E access point in the Cognitive Wi-Fi portfolio, built for environments where both client count and per-client throughput requirements are extreme simultaneously: conference venues, university lecture theatres, sports arenas, and enterprise trading floors where hundreds of clients associate per AP and each client demands video conferencing or application streaming bandwidth. Three concurrent 4×4:4 MIMO radios on 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz deliver up to 4.8 Gbps on the 6GHz band alone, with the AP's four-stream MIMO configuration able to serve 4 spatial streams simultaneously to individual Wi-Fi 6E clients, double the two-stream per-client throughput of the C-330's 2×2:2 radios. A dedicated fourth radio for WIPS monitoring and a built-in BLE radio are included alongside the three access radios.

Two 10 GbE uplink ports, both PoE++ (802.3bt) capable, provide the wired connectivity headroom that 4×4:4 tri-band MIMO requires. At 4.8 Gbps peak 6GHz throughput alone, a single 10 GbE uplink is necessary to avoid creating a wired bottleneck below the AP's wireless capacity; dual 10 GbE ports provide both sufficient bandwidth and link redundancy for mission-critical deployments. Power draw is 39W (802.3bt Class 6), requiring PoE++ switch ports as the upstream power source. Arista 720XP and 720XPM campus switches with built-in PoE++ are the natural pairing for C-360 deployments. Memory configuration includes 2×1 GB RAM and 1 GB flash, providing the headroom for local CloudVision CV-CUE management, diagnostic captures, and on-AP analytics across a high-density client population.

4×4:4 MIMO on All Three Bands

Running four spatial streams on each of 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz allows the C-360 to serve four-stream Wi-Fi 6E clients at their maximum physical data rate while simultaneously serving additional clients on the other two bands. The difference between the C-360's 4×4:4 configuration and the C-330's 2×2:2 configuration is most visible when serving individual high-throughput clients: a 4×4:4 client receives twice the spatial-stream allocation, and in a well-designed RF environment with sufficient transmit power this translates directly to measurable per-client throughput improvement. For environments deploying 4×4:4 client devices such as workstations, video cameras, or AP-to-AP wireless backhaul, the C-360 preserves the full MIMO capability of those clients.

Dual 10GbE PoE++ Uplinks

Two 10 GbE uplink ports match the AP's aggregate wireless capacity at the wired interface, preventing a single-gigabit or even 2.5-gigabit uplink from becoming the bottleneck that limits throughput for the 1280 clients the AP can simultaneously associate. PoE++ (802.3bt) power delivery on both ports means that either port can power the AP from a PoE++ switch, with the second port available for traffic load distribution or link failover. For deployments where the upstream switch has 10 GbE PoE++ ports (such as distribution-layer connections through the Arista 720XP family), both ports can be used for active-active traffic distribution using LACP bonding, effectively providing 20 Gbps of aggregate uplink bandwidth to the distribution switch.

1280-Client Capacity with 6.3 dBi Gain

Support for up to 1280 simultaneous client associations across the three bands (512 on 5GHz, 512 on 6GHz, and 256 on 2.4GHz) positions the C-360 for venue-scale deployments where a single AP covers a section of seating and must maintain connectivity quality across several hundred actively associated devices simultaneously. The 6.3 dBi integrated antenna gain (listed in the datasheet) provides reliable coverage area at the EIRP levels the AP radiates, reducing the need for additional AP density to fill RF dead zones at the edges of the coverage cell and allowing network designers to achieve the required coverage area with fewer APs than lower-gain alternatives.

BLE, Dedicated WIPS, and CV-CUE

A dedicated fourth radio provides continuous WIPS monitoring across 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, while an integrated BLE radio handles proximity services, asset location, and IoT data aggregation independently from the access radios. CloudVision CV-CUE manages all three access radios and the BLE radio from a single management instance, providing unified per-client analytics across all bands and AI-driven troubleshooting that correlates RF events, client association history, and application performance to identify root causes of reported connectivity issues without requiring the operator to reproduce the fault or perform a spectrum survey at the time of the complaint.
