Arista 7135LB Series

The Arista 7135LB is a 25G-optimized Layer 1+ FPGA switch combining programmable Layer 1 connectivity with 48 SFP28 server ports and 4 QSFP28 uplinks, running Arista EOS across both its Layer 1 and Layer 2/3 operation. The FPGA's programmable crosspoint enables passive Layer 1 replication: copying a market data feed to multiple recipients at nanosecond speed without involving the forwarding ASIC or host CPU, providing the architectural separation between the latency-sensitive market data path and the general routing path on the same piece of hardware.

Sharing the EOS software stack with the rest of Arista's portfolio means 7135LB configurations, monitoring, and telemetry integrate directly into CloudVision alongside traditional data center switches. Operations teams can manage ultra-low-latency trading infrastructure and standard data center switching from the same management plane, reducing the operational divide between trading infrastructure and enterprise networking teams that separate EOS and non-EOS platforms create.
