The Arista 7060X5 Series spans six fixed-configuration models covering both 400G and 800G Ethernet in compact form factors, delivering 25.6 Tbps half-duplex (51.2 Tbps full-duplex) switching capacity. The family addresses the growing bandwidth demands of AI/ML training clusters and hyperscale cloud fabrics, with models offering 64x QSFP-DD 400G ports (7060DX5-64S), 32x QSFP-DD 800G ports (7060DX5-64E / 7060DX5-32), 32x OSFP 800G ports (7060PX5-64E), or a mixed 56x QSFP100 + 8x QSFP-DD 400G configuration (7060CX5-56D8), all in 1RU.
A shared table architecture across 400G models provides 128K MAC addresses, 800K IPv4 LPM routes, 500K IPv6 LPM routes, and 128-way ECMP with 4K groups and 16K members, making the 7060X5 effective as either a spine switch in classical multi-tier networks or a direct-attach leaf in flattened AI cluster fabrics. The 1500W power supply (PWR-1511-AC) operates at 93% Platinum efficiency across 200–240V AC or –48 to –60V DC input, within an environmental operating range of 0–40°C and 5–90% relative humidity.
Six models span 400G and 800G Ethernet across QSFP-DD and OSFP transceiver types, from 64x QSFP-DD 400G to 32x QSFP-DD 800G to a mixed 56x 100G + 8x 400G configuration. This range allows selecting the exact speed profile required for each tier ToR GPU connectivity, spine uplinks, or a combined role without over-specifying port capacity.
A 800K IPv4 LPM routing table and 500K IPv6 LPM routes support large-scale cloud routing deployments that would otherwise require a dedicated route-reflector or a larger modular chassis. The 128-way ECMP capability with 4K groups and 16K members ensures effective multi-path load balancing across all active uplinks and fabric paths.
Two thousand three hundred and four ingress ACL entries with 512 egress entries provide hardware-enforced traffic policy at line rate. At 25.6 Tbps, this means access control rules apply without software slow-path fallback, maintaining full forwarding throughput regardless of the number of ACL rules in use.
A 1500W power supply rated at 93% Platinum efficiency operates across both AC (200–240V) and DC (–48 to –60V) input, covering standard data centre and carrier-grade power environments. The high efficiency rating reduces the heat dissipated in the power conversion stage, lowering cooling overhead in high-density deployments.
